Rick Telberg
Principal and Founder
Rick Telberg is a veteran analyst, advisor, commentator, editor and publisher. He brings a unique background and perspective to research and advisory services for the professional services community.
Mr. Telberg may well be the accounting profession's most widely-known commentator through his long associations with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Accounting Today magazine.
As an expert in management, marketing, media and e-commerce, Mr. Telberg has served as Senior Editorial Director of Pro2Net Corp., now www.smartpros.com, and as Director of Online Content at CPA2Biz, www.cpa2biz.com.
Previously, Mr. Telberg served as the longtime Editor-in-Chief of Accounting Today, and as Vice President/Group Publisher at Thomson Financial (now SourceMedia), overseeing Practical Accountant, Accounting Technology, and what is now www.WebCPA.com.
Mr. Telberg was presented with a special citation by the National Society of Accountants for service to the profession and has served on a variety of boards and steering committees, including BKR International and the IBM Small Business Advisory Council. He is a graduate of New York University.

Bruce W. Marcus
Bruce W. Marcus is internationally recognized for his innovative solutions to marketing and practice-management problems. Leslie Raicer
Leslie Raicer brings a wealth of diverse experience in business and organizational development, media production, consumer and trade marketing, product licensing and intellectual property management in both the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors. Throughout her career, Ms. Raicer has successfully built organizations, shepherded projects, and developed strong, effective alliances, including pro-bono work in the areas of animal welfare and environmental advocacy. Ms. Raicer's domestic and international ventures have included Sesame Street and The Electric Company, as well as partnerships with Random House, Sony, Kraft, and Televisa. She is a graduate of Ithaca College.
Jackson Whelan
Jackson Whelan provides graphic design and integrated marketing communications services across all media to individuals, companies and nonprofit organizations. Through Ditto! Design!, he provides Bay Street Group clients with access to world-class resources in identity design, printing and interactive solutions. Mr. Whelan develops and maintains web sites and deploys a wide range of stable open-source software on the LAMP platform, comprised of Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP. John M. Covaleski
John Covaleski is a seasoned business analyst and investigator, in addition to being an award-winning journalist. He may be best known to the finance and accounting community as senior news editor of Accounting Today, where he directed the publication's technology coverage. But Mr. Covaleski is also an accomplished investigative reporter. His work has appeared in Best's Review, Pensions & Investments, Philadelphia Business Journal, The Times of Trenton, N.J., The Sun in Lowell, Mass., and The Intelligencer in Doylestown, Bucks County, Pa. He has a bachelor's degree in journalism from Temple University in Philadelphia, and was a sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Ted Needleman, MA Ed.
Ted Needleman is a widely recognized business technology consultant and analyst. He has been an accountant in public practice, ran the award-winning Accounting Technology for a decade, and has authored over 4,000 reviews, articles, columns, and two books. His first programming job was in the late 1960s, on an IBM 1401 with 4K of memory. Since then, he has programmed computers ranging from mainframes to minis to micros. He holds a BA in Accounting and a Masters in Teaching.
Dr. Marlene Piturro, Ph.D, MBA
Dr. Marlene Piturro holds a Ph.D and MBA, specializing in organizational development. She has worked in clinical practice as a psychologist and in the Fortune 500 in human resources and strategic planning. Piturro has been published extensively in finance and healthcare, particularly The New York Times, Managed Healthcare News, Strategic Finance, CFO magazine, the Journal of Accountancy and Public Issues.
Samantha Merton, MA, MBA
Samantha Merton is an experienced marketing and corporate researcher. Her background includes positions at Audits & Surveys Worldwide (now RoperASW), Sesame Workshop, and the World Bank. She is a graduate of Harvard University and received both her MBA and her MA in Statistics at Columbia University.
